Women's Self Defense

Online registration is now open for the January 22, 2024 class from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Billie Dean Community Center.

Women’s Self Defense Class is offered by the Apopka Police Department and Apopka Parks and Recreation. This course is for women only, ages 18 +. If you want to learn to protect yourself from an attacker, then this course is for you. 

Class Information

Next class: Monday, January 22, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

  • Location: Billie Dean Community Center (225 M A Board Street)
  • Cost: $5
  • Maximum Participants: 20 per class
  • Registration: Available online or by calling 407-703-1742.
  • Additional Information: 
    • Waiver must be completed upon arrival. 
    • Punches and kicks will be taught and used during this course. 
    • Wear clothing that you are comfortable moving around in. 
    • Closed toed shoes are required.
