State of Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training certificate of completion
Current State of Florida Department of Health Paramedic or EMT license
Current BLS and/or ACLS certificates
16-hour emergency vehicle operations certificate

Division Chief $143,860
Fire Chief $158,246
Vested at (10) ten years
Eligible for retirement at 22 years or age 55, whichever comes first
DROP plan available at 22 years or age 55, for up to eight years
Multiplier: 3% per year (years 1 to 10); 3.5% per year (years 11 to 20); 4% per year (years 21 and up)
