Update as of March 19, 2021

On behalf of the Apopka Fire Department and its members I, Chief Wylam, would like to thank the entire Apopka community for a very successful COVID-19 Vaccination campaign.

Over the past week the City has participated in two different vaccination programs held at the Apopka Community Center/VFW through both the Florida Department of Emergency Management and the Department of Health.

We are all living in interesting and uncertain times, so it was refreshing to see our entire City come together with several of its partners and utilize both our resources and resourcefulness to provide a valuable benefit to our community and the Northwest Orange County region.

Through our combined efforts we were able to vaccinate over four hundred and eighty members of our community.

Please continue to check this page for any updates.
