April 10, 2021: Hometown Showcase at Saturday Sounds (Free Concert & Fireworks)
Join the City of Apopka for our free Hometown Showcase Concert at the Apopka Amphitheater on Saturday, April 10, 2021 beginning at 3 PM.
Featuring performances by Bailey Callahan, The Chad Cribb Band, Johnny and the Moon Dogs, Bobby Sanders, and special guest Firefighter Jeremias Williams.

Hometown Showcase T-shirts on Sale $10 this Saturday!
T-shirts will be available at the concert on April 10, 2021. T-shirts will be on sale for $10 each or 2 for $15 with an Apopka Proud 2019 Shirt.
Cornhole Tournament with the Apopka Elks Lodge #2422
Check in will begin at 2 PM with the first match starting at 3 PM. This is a doubles tournament and it is $25 to register your team. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams. For more information or to register, visit the Apopka Elks Apopka Hometown Showcase Cornhole Entry Page.
Saturday Sounds Concert Series in Apopka
The City is proud to host this free family-friendly concert series in 2021.
- Dates: Every Saturday through May 29, 2021
- Time: 5 PM to 7 PM
- Location: Apopka Amphitheater (3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway, Apopka, FL 32712)
Picnic baskets and coolers are permitted. Limited vendors will be available.
Seating will be social distanced in both the Amphitheater and the lawn area. In the Amphitheater every other row will be blocked off, with two seats between groups. The lawn area is divided into squares with red lines to indicate where seating is unavailable.

April 17, 2021: Life on Mars
From one of Orlando’s most well known musicians and most respected producers, David Schweizer, comes the energetic and accomplished band of all-stars, Life on Mars! Bringing you unique renditions of songs you've loved through the decades.
This band brings fun to the stage!
April 24, 2021: BeatleBeat Tribute Band to the Beatles
Based in Florida, this musical ensemble for over 20 years brings their nostalgic look of the music that changed the world to the city of Apopka. BeatleBeat will catapult you back to the 60's with the timeless music of the Beatles in full costume show.
BeatleBeat starts with the 1964 Ed Sullivan era dressed in the classic black suits, and the band plays the hits from the BeatleMania days. Act 2 begins with 1967 Sgt. Pepper and moves up to 1970 Abbey Road.

April 8 through 11, 2021 at Kit Land Nelson Park

Apopka BBQ Showdown Presented by Sonny's BBQ Sanctioned by the Florida BBQ Association

April 10, 2021: People's Choice Award from 3 PM to 5 PM & Award Ceremony at 5:30 PM.

Apopka Health & Fitness Fair Rescheduled
April 17, 2021 from 9 AM to 12 PM
The City of Apopka is hosting this free event. The Apopka Health & Fitness Fair has been rescheduled for April 17, 2021 from 9 AM to 12 PM at Kit Land Nelson Park. The City of Apopka is hosting this free event.
Various organizations will be on site to promote the importance of health and fitness.

59th Annual Apopka Art and Foliage Festival
April 24, 2021 from 9 AM to 5 PM and April 25, 2021 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Kit Land Nelson Park
This free family-friendly event is hosted by Apopka's Woman's Club in partnership with the City of Apopka. This event will feature art and crafts, locally grown foliage, and live music and entertainment. Parking is $5. Memorial Day Service 2021

The City of Apopka and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10147 would like to invite the public to join us, as we honor the lives and legacy of our fallen military heroes at the Veterans Memorial (Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery at 141 South Edgewood Drive) on May 31, 2021.
